1. The chimney shaft is installed in an upright position. In this case, there should be no extensions or narrowings. It is also allowed to set up to three turns if the radius of their rounding is equal to the diameter.
2. The material of manufacture must be non-combustible and non-consumable, and the structure should be free from cracks and any other damage in order to prevent fire. 3. The height and diameter of the pipe must fully meet all the established output parameters of the gas equipment. This is necessary to ensure sufficient traction and efficient operation of the equipment.
4. The laying of chimneys in the room is prohibited.
5. In the lower part of the outlet pipe connection from the boiler to the chimney, it is important to make a so-called pocket for cleaning from accumulated condensate.
6. If pipes are laid through rooms without heating, it is important to cover them with thermal insulation.

Depending on the type of heat generator used, various smoke extraction designs can be used. As for gas boilers equipped with a closed internal combustion chamber, a coaxial chimney is used here. The only drawback is the cost, which is slightly higher than with the organization of the internal smoke removal system. After a properly installed chimney installation, the owner will only have to periodically do maintenance work, cleaning the chimney from accumulating burning.
